According to the new book The Hacked World Order – How Nations Fight, Trade, Maneuver, And Manipulate In The Digital Age, written by Adam Segal we where all impacted by the cold war. It was not only the threats of nuclear war but also the struggle between individuals and states on both sides which resulted in new relationships. The final result was that both sides of this long and cold conflict created powerful bureaucracies because they wanted to competed with each other (Segal.2016:15).
